Dr's Appts. Seriously, Will They Ever End?

For days, months, years, I've heard of kids going to the MD, having ear infections, stomach bugs, herpes, whatever. My boys have been so healthy, until the Winter of 2012. We've been to their MD more in the last two months than we've been in the last year. COME ON.

The above picture is of the boys sitting in the waiting room to see their MD to see if they still have ear infections. Luke has gone unscathed through all of this (obviously the Elmore in him). After we leave the MD, we drop off the boys prescriptions and by the time we get home it's lunch time. I hurry to feed the boys and get them down for their nap. While the boys are napping and I'm sitting down, by myself, I realize I never washed the boys' hands after they went to the MD's office. I, of course, washed my hands probably 500 times when we got home as I prepared their lunch. How could I forget to wash their hands? These guys were on the floor at the MD's office, on the floor in the "sick" part of the waiting room, rolling their cars around on the floor, opening the trash door in the MD's patient room, basically licking the floor of the MD's office. Well, I guess I win parent of the year award, again.... This will just build up their immune system, right?
